Student Guiding Principles

1. I will respect my instrument, my teacher, my parents, my studio mates, myself, and my surroundings during my lesson.

2. I will try my best to be on time, focused, and prepared for my lesson and in my practice sessions.

3. I will always play my instrument while relaxed and with good posture.

4. I will bring a pencil to my lesson.

5. When I practice at home, I will use a metronome or tuner when it is asked of me.

6. I will stop playing if I feel any pain and tell my parent and teacher.

7. I will try my best to practice as much as is requested of me.

8. I will be kind to myself even if I make a mistake.

9. I will ask important questions.

10. I will support my studio mates during concerts and recitals.

11. I will have fun learning and improving at my instrument!
